Who We Are

The Shady Acres Parents Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on improving community cohesion and public parks. Our group started out as a small group of dads trying to build community out of the stifling pandemic. It started with free neighborhood events to bring our economically and culturally diverse neighborhood together and has now grown into an organization that wants to literally start building up our community.
